Chuppi Todein, Khulkar Bolein

An interactive exhibition on youth and HIV&AIDS

Chuppi Todein, Khulkar Bolein!” is an effort to involve groups in an open dialogue on issues related to HIV & AIDS. The interactive exhibition encourages participating groups to break the silence around HIV & AIDS, clear myths and misconceptions, gather correct information and move towards a dialogue on protecting rights of People Living with HIV & AIDS.

The exhibition consists of 9 panels. Each panel has three sections: introduction to the sub-topic, information and space for self-expression. The panels create a lot of scope for the participants to use their imagination and creativity even as they are introduced to new information. The exhibition also has the potential to provoke a discussion and debate among the participants on issues related to HIV & AIDS. A journey across the nine panels (each sized 6’ x 5’) creates an enabling environment for young people to come together and talk about the issue openly.

The exhibition is basically conceptualized as a facilitation resource, with the facilitator playing a key role. media matters will be glad to orient facilitators interested in introducing the exhibition to their youth groups in colleges and communities.
